Affiliate Programs

A few  years ago, there was a group of people starting to talk about buying aged domains that already had PR. These domains were former websites and for some reason, there people who owned them let them go. In most instances, all the links pointing to those domains stayed in place and since all those links were pointing at those domains, they kept their PR in most cases. If you bought on of these aged domains at auction, all you had to do was throw up a website and you instantly had a website with PR. It was pretty easy and pretty straightforward. I bought a few back in 2008 and 2009 and they had a brief period where their PR dropped. But since I had quickly put up a website all were able to get their PR back and keep them. A few even went up.

Ever since the Google Farming algo change, many content sites have been scrambling to try and appease Big G. Both Hubpages and EzineArticles made some changes in hopes of getting their Adsense income and their rankings back. However, EzineArticles have recently taking some actions that can only be described as “knee jerk” at best. Simply because they make no sense at all and will only end up turning away those that have helped build EZA to the money maker it was (and in all honestly, still is!)

It’s just one income stream I use to make money online, but it’s a very important and profitable stream!

A while back it occurred to me that I had quite a few (over 100) parked domains that I had done nothing with! They were just sitting there, collecting dust and advertising for the domain company should you type a name in. This got me to researching how to make money with parked domains. What I learned is that if you have a lot of domains, those domains can be another source of income for you. And if you’ve followed me any at all, you know I’m all about extra streams of income!

If you haven’t noticed, my last post was a review on The Keyword Academy’s program called ‘The Keyword Crash Course‘. It’s dated April 2009. I haven’t made a post since then due to several reasons. One of them is that I’ve been extremely busy! The other is because I tried to forget everything I knew about Affiliate Marketing and follow the Keyword Crash Course to a “T” to see if it really worked. Heck, what am I saying, I knew it would work because it’s a lot like how I make money with Internet Marketing and affiliate programs.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Niche websites and blogs are where the money is at in Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing, especially on a local level. Out of all the emails I get asking me for help, this one subject is probably the most asked about. I simply don’t have time to answer all the questions. I’ve covered a lot of the subjects and strategies on this blog, but there is more some of you need to know to get started making money with niche sites.
