There are days I feel like that Buffalo calf. No matter which way I turn, someone’s chewing on my ass!

But there are lessons to be learned from watching this video that can be applied to Affiliate Marketing.

Here are 5 Lessons We Can Learn From that Cape Buffalo Calf

1. No matter how dire a situation looks at first, it can always get worse.Never say “What can go wrong next” or “This couldn’t get any worse.” Because it can. I bet the Buffalo calf was so focused on the Lions, he never thought about the Crocs.
2. No matter how dire the situation becomes, never give up. The calf’s instinct for survival kept him alive. He could have just gave up but he kept fighting. Many affiliate marketers give up just before they become profitable.
3. When in a tough situation, don’t be afraid to ask for help.The calf’s bleating brought the Buffalo herd back to save him. Whether it’s your Affiliate Manager, bloggers or forum members, never be afraid to ask for help.
4. There’s a measure of safety built into a large network. If that calf had been alone or with a few other Cape Buffalo, it would have been Lion turds by now. There’s some built in security being a part of a large network.
5. Danger can come from all directions. Be vigilant.  Many times a bad situation starts out as a minor one but people fail to address until its has grown into a major problem. Put those little fires out when they pop up instead of waiting until they become major blazes.
