It seems like only a month ago I was tell you how I broke into Technorati’s Top 10k. Well, sometime last weekend, this site busted into the Technorati Top 5k! (oh wait, it was just over a month ago…lol)
Ever since I posted that news, it seems like I’ve just creeped toward the Top 5k. Now, my new goal of course will be to make it under the top 2500 in Technorati.
FYI: Technorati and Alexa ranking are used by some companies to help decide how much to pay for links and sponsored post.
Granted, it doesn’t mean a whole lot, but it’s just a little milestone that I’m happy to achieve. The popularity of this blog is getting has really surprised me. I’d like to thank everyone who has stopped by and read the blog and those who have signed up for my RSS feed. There are some great stories coming soon, so you’ll want to be watching for them.I also have some changes to the blog coming. I’ll be announcing those shortly. Some of the changes may be less than popular with some of my readers, but they’ll be changes I need to make.
I’m sure any negative changes I make will be more than made up for by a few things I have planned. I can’t tell you what they are just now, but I know you’ll like them
For now, I just want to thank everyone for stopping by and taking the time out of your busy lives to read my blog and post comments. It’s what motivates me to keep posting.

Congrats on your milestone! I just found your blog the other day and I’m looking forward to digging into the articles.
PS – how did you make that little pullquote higher up (the FYI section?)

Dave,
I hate my Pullquotes. I’ve never been able to get them to work right. When the work right, I think they’re so darn cool, that’s why I keep trying them..lol
Chris (the designer of Cutline) has a tutorial here:
http://www.pearsonified.com/2006/09/snazzy_pullquotes_for_your_blo.php
Supposedly, this new cutline theme is suppose to already have the CSS code in the template for pullquotes, but I couldn’t get them to work. So I cut and pasted the code from Chris’s article above.
Here is a link that describes the features in Cutline 1.02. Needless to say, I couldn’t get the pullquotes to look right in the old theme either..lol

I’d say go ahead and try them, if they work for you, let me know.

Thanks. Just added you to my blogroll, so don’t be surprised if you break the Technorati 2,500 tomorrow.
LOL
