I’ll guess that most of you know what a smackdown is. Well, I’ve decided to put some popular article submission sites in head to head review. I guess you could call it a article marketing Battle Royale. I get a lot of questions from readers wanting to know which is the best article submission site out there.
I know many of you use article marketing as a means to brand your blogs and websites and to drive traffic to them. That’s cool, I do for some of my blogs and websites also. Article marketing is a very good way to get the word out about your product or service.

Are the crazies running Ezinearticles now?
Here lately, I’ve had nearly every article that I’ve submitted to ezinearticles flagged for one reason or another. Now I’ve been a member of Chris Knight’s ezinearticles for several years. He’s helped me make some pretty good bank during that time with article marketing.
But lately, I don’t know if he has some new editors or just a renegade editor on his hands. The funny thing is, when I resubmitted the articles with few if any changes, they were accepted.
On one article, it was declined for the reason of “Keyword stuffing!” Me, keyword stuff? How dare they!

Newbies should not dive into PPC unless you have a large budget. A better way to use Adwords would be to use the site targeted feature of Adwords and choose sites that are relevant to yours. Site targeted Adwords are charged on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis rather than a per-click basis.
