This story is like an old episode of “As The World Turns”. A few days ago I posted about Googles updated Adsense TOS and how they were tightening up the TOS and how it seemed they were trying to nudge out the competition and force publishers to choose between the higher paying Adsense and the newer and start up contextual networks like YPN and MSN.
Jensense spoke with Brian Axe (the senior product manager on the Google Adsense Team) and he told her:

A couple days ago I posted a review of CrazyEggs services. Here’s an update.
In my original post, I told you about the “dots” on the heat map and how it looked like they appeared on the specific area that someone clicked. I also mentioned that these “dots” were appearing on keywords in the links.
“links in the content get clicked 3 to 1 over links in the Nav bar”
Well, I was right. I did some testing on my own and went to the pages of my site that were being monitored and I clicked on specific non-linked areas. I then returned to my CrazyEgg account, logged in and checked the heat map. Yep, right there in those specific spots I had clicked were “heat dots”.
