I’m sorry to announce that I have failed my good readers.

I know the old saying “You learn from your failures.” But this failure was an omission, a basic failure that I shouldn’t have made.

Last week, after I posted my review for Webmerge, I noticed a trackback from Linda’s blog at 5 Star Affiliate Programs when she mentioned my review in one of her post. My first impression was “Cool, Linda reads my blog.” Then my failure flashed before my eyes.

I have failed to tell you good people about 5 Star Affiliate Programs!

The failure was innocent enough. I browse 5 Star Affiliate Programs website/blog/forums nearly as much as I do DigitalPoint forums. For me, 5 Star is one of the basic “must reads” every week to stay up on the happenings in the Affiliate Marketing industry.

One thing I keep finding hard to do on this blog is give the new or beginning blogger or affiliate marketer information they need to get off the ground. I look at things through 10 years of being on the Internet, not as someone who maybe just bought a computer and wants to learn to blog or make money on the internet.

I promise to try and do better! I’m now racking my brain to see if there are any other resources that I may have forgotten about. When they come to me, I’ll be sure and notify you the reader!

What I’m Working On This Week

You’ll want to stay tuned this week and keep checking back (or make it easy on yourself and subscribe to my RSS feed if you haven’t done that already). My schedule is pretty hectic this week, but I’m trying to put the finishing touches on several good articles (IMHO) that I think you’ll like. One of the articles is “101 Link Building Strategies Anyone Can Do”. Needless to say, it’ll be a lengthy post!

I’m also working on a couple post about Google and WordPress, although I’m not sure I can polish them up enough to post this week, we’ll see.

So now I”m feeling a little better about my “failure”, I want everyone to go and visit Linda and the rest of the gang at 5 Star Affiliate Programs, you won’t be sorry (unless you waste a whole day reading their site.. )
