Recently I was looking over my “Most Valuable Websites” and thinning the ones that I don’t read any longer. I figure if I don’t read them, you won’t either. Many of these are blogs that have went downhill IMHO. I started looking into my bookmarks at sites I frequent regularly and found more sites to add to my “Most Valuable Websites”.

One is John Chow’s site at JohnChow.Com. Johns blog is all about how to make money online. He’s been asking his readers for an honest review of his blog, JohnChow.Com. Okay, you asked for it, here it comes big fella!

Since I’m a long time reader, I figured I could do a decent review of his blog. There are things that I like, some I don’t. Overall Johns site is a guide book on how to make money online.

For those of you who don’t know John Chow, he is the Big Cheese at TheTechZone.Com. He probably doesn’t have to blog about making money online, but there are many of us who are glad he does!

JohnChow.Com is a blog where John shares his ideas and techniques with the rest of us. I think it is safe to say that John thinks outside the box when it comes to blogging for dollars. I’ve been amazed at many of his money making ideas, blog hacks and successes. He’s a prime example of how thinking outside the box can make you some cold hard cash.

Johns blog is well laid out and easy to read. However there are a couple things I do not like about it.

1. Those ugly ass blue cars in the header image. What kind of cars are they? Who would have one? They look so out of place in a field. They should have been photo’d on a beach or someplace. Fields are for taking pictures of butterfly’s and John Deere Tractors.

2. Those “I Love John Chow” Adsense Ads. I mean c’mon dude, think of something else to pimp the page out =)

Okay, that’s about all the gripes I have about his blog. I’ve made too much money using some of his tips and techniques not to overlook his shortcomings in blog layout
