The SEO World Championship wrapped up on May 1st. I outlined how the Championsip worked in an earlier post titled “SEO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP“. The winner is Benj Arriola. Benj has the website goglobalwarmingawareness2007.com.
Part of the idea behind this contest was to bring awareness about the supposedly problem of global warming. I think it’s ironic that the winner as well as many others put up a lot of facts shooting holes in the Global Warming theory rather than supporting the theory as the organizers had hoped.
Congrats to Benj for winning the Championship and for creating a informative blog. I can’t wait for the next SEO World Championship. Maybe I won’t be too busy to participate in it. I just hope it’s about a more reality based subject than Global Warming!

Thanks. Well controversy drives traffic. Traffic promoted in social media, gets more eyeballs. And eyeballs tends to get more link baits.
