Everyone knows what American Idol is unless they’ve been living under a rock the last 7 years. I don’t particularly care for the show but do catch it a few times when my Wife is watching it. I always look at these so called reality shows and see what life’s little lessons can be learned from them.

Well, thanks to everyone who has sent emails wondering where I’ve been. There’s been a lot of speculation. Some of you thought I was gone for good, some thought I had met an untimely end, some thought I sold out while others were just wondering. I can say that the stories of my demise are greatly exaggerated!

For those who’ve followed my blog for any length of time, you’ll remember that my Mother passed away in Dec. Since that time I’ve been trying to get her home and other affairs in order, which means a 500+ mile one way trip every time I went up there. I’ve been there more than here the last few months. I get emails all the time asking me how to take advantage of affiliate datafeeds that are put out by merchants. To be honest, how I use the datafeeds depends on my website and the merchant. I will tell you that I use a wide variety of programs and services when I use datafeeds. I’m just not comfortable with one program or service, probably due to all the different niches I’m in.

Are the crazies running Ezinearticles now?

Here lately, I’ve had nearly every article that I’ve submitted to ezinearticles flagged for one reason or another. Now I’ve been a member of Chris Knight’s ezinearticles for several years. He’s helped me make some pretty good bank during that time with article marketing.

But lately, I don’t know if he has some new editors or just a renegade editor on his hands. The funny thing is, when I resubmitted the articles with few if any changes, they were accepted.

On one article, it was declined for the reason of “Keyword stuffing!” Me, keyword stuff? How dare they!
