Ever since the Google Farming algo change, many content sites have been scrambling to try and appease Big G. Both Hubpages and EzineArticles made some changes in hopes of getting their Adsense income and their rankings back. However, EzineArticles have recently taking some actions that can only be described as “knee jerk” at best. Simply because they make no sense at all and will only end up turning away those that have helped build EZA to the money maker it was (and in all honestly, still is!)

Article Marketing Smackdown – Article Submission Sites Reviewed
December 22nd, 2008 · 8 Comments
I’ll guess that most of you know what a smackdown is. Well, I’ve decided to put some popular article submission sites in head to head review. I guess you could call it a article marketing Battle Royale. I get a lot of questions from readers wanting to know which is the best article submission site out there.
I know many of you use article marketing as a means to brand your blogs and websites and to drive traffic to them. That’s cool, I do for some of my blogs and websites also. Article marketing is a very good way to get the word out about your product or service.

March 13th, 2008 · 4 Comments
What if I told you there was a way you could absolutely dominate your local niche and outrank your local competition? What if I told you this technique is very simple and inexpensive? Would you be interested? What would it be worth to you to dominate your local niche? What’s Up With Ezinearticles?
January 18th, 2008 · 16 Comments
Are the crazies running Ezinearticles now?
Here lately, I’ve had nearly every article that I’ve submitted to ezinearticles flagged for one reason or another. Now I’ve been a member of Chris Knight’s ezinearticles for several years. He’s helped me make some pretty good bank during that time with article marketing.
But lately, I don’t know if he has some new editors or just a renegade editor on his hands. The funny thing is, when I resubmitted the articles with few if any changes, they were accepted.
On one article, it was declined for the reason of “Keyword stuffing!” Me, keyword stuff? How dare they!

Getting Penalized By Google Is Easier Than You Think – Here’s How To Reverse the Google Rankings Penalty
October 7th, 2007 · 5 Comments
A few days ago I followed a link from my dashboard over to David Airey’s blog. Seems David was slapped with a Google Rankings Penalty for practicing Black Hat Seo and having paid links to bad neighborhoods…who would have thought that David was a Black Hatter??!! It’s always the ones you least expect!
Next thing you’ll know is that ezinearticles is only accepting kids books!
Seriously though, If you’ve read David’s blog then you know it was unintentional and that David is about the furthest thing away from being a Black Hatter as you can get.

9 Low Cost Ways To Promote Your Site
October 1st, 2007 · 1 Comment
Blog and Website owners are always looking for effective ways to drive quality traffic to their sites. For some, this can be a hair pulling effort. For others, it seems no matter what they try, traffic comes rolling in.
Here are 9 Low Cost Ways to Drive Traffic To Your Site
- Pay-Per-Click Programs - You should try Adwords and other Pay-Per-Click programs such as Yahoo Publisher Network and Microsoft AdCenter, only if you have a good understanding of how PPC programs work. Newbies should not dive into PPC unless you have a large budget. A better way to use Adwords would be to use the site targeted feature of Adwords and choose sites that are relevant to yours. Site targeted Adwords are charged on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis rather than a per-click basis.
