I didn’t have much time last week to surf a lot of blogs and websites, however when I did get the time, I found some really good ones IMHO.
DoshDosh as usual had a great article on finding and targeting longtail keywords for more search engine traffic.
I found Shoemoney’s post about firing someone really interesting, especially since he list all the previous jobs he’s had and how many times he was fired. Brutal honesty on his part!
Courtney Tuttle is starting a new project. He’s starting a blog from scratch and will be taking his readers through blog building and monetization step by step. It should be real interesting to watch him lay it out.
Andreas over at Linkrain wrote a post about Good vs Evil Bloggers. I think he did an excellent job categorizing what he considers good blogs and evil blogs. Andreas really goes out on a limb and names those he thinks are good bloggers and evil bloggers. BTW, I agree with him about John Chows site here of late.
Blogthatoutside.com opened up to his readers about quitting smoking. I can relate since I quit for 3 years only to pick up the habit again. Let me tell you, it’s really, really hard to quit the 2nd time!
Jane May is guest posting on JohnChow.Com this week. She has an outstanding article on checking your adsense earnings and how to increase them. This was a little tip that I never thought about. She has really made that blog this week!
eMom’s had a problem ever since here aticle “Top 10 Blogging Mistakes I Made My First Year” hit the front page of Digg. Although her articles have made the front page of Digg several times, this time it brought her server down. Looks like she’s back up and running as of this writing.
J.D. at GetRichSlowly had an interesting article on a 21st century piggy bank. Yes, you read that right, a 21st century piggy bank!
JonLee has a post on where to find FREE, yes FREE, icons for your website or blog. Seems it’s getting harder and harder to find free clip art and icons these days.
Julie Anne Bonner is having SEO problems with her WordPress theme, but you wouldn’t know it by the article she’s been posting. I especially like her write up she did back in May on Tim Carter, the Guru at AskTheBuilder.Com. Tim’s one of my favorite online entrepreneurs because he’s made a fortune with what he knows, being a Builder. Since I work in that industry, it’s nice to see someone make a killin’ online with something other than “how to make a million online”.
And what would this weeks review be without mentioning Paris Hilton? (a good week?) Jules at Julies Journal has her thoughts on Paris Hilton going back to jail. Personally, I bet she’ll think again before getting behind the wheel after drinking.
Okay, there you have it, the most interesting blog post I read this week. (or at least the ones I remembered to bookmark..lol)
