I stumbled across some good websites over the last two weeks. I hope you find them as interesting as I did.
For those of you who are still not using StumbleUpon, you don’t know what you’re missing!
Okay, here are this weeks speed links:
Have you ever had the need for a temporary email address? You know, for like downloading an eBook or something else but didn’t trust the site with your email address? Well, I think I found the solution right here. GuerrillaMail gives you a 15 minute email address. I haven’t actually used this service yet, but I did bookmark it and in the future when I want a temp email address, you can bet I’ll use it! If you need an email for a little longer, try Spambox. According to their website, you can get a temporary email for up to 1 year. But why would you? LOL
If you’re like me, when you call a company for customer or technical service, then you want to speak with a human. Many companies have gotten lazy and installed those crappy automated phone systems. DialAHuman has a phone number list to many companies where you’ll get a real live human when calling in! Keep it handy in case you ever need to talk to someone about your special problem…or call them up and rant about their automated phone system!
Staying on the same subject as above, HardToFind800Numbers has a lit of toll free numbers to many companies. Why pay to gripe to a company, let them pick up the dime!
And speaking of complaining, HowToComplain is a website where you can pick the company you want to compalin to, fill in a form and hit submit and the complaint form will be delivered to that company. Man, the make is soooo easy to be a pain in the a$$ to jerk companies!
For those of you who have a problem coming up with new ideas for your blog, PopURL is a website that list the most popular stories from Digg.com, Del.icio.us, Reddit.com, popular photo’s from Flickr, Newsvine, Metafilter and Tailrank.com and popular video’s from YouTube and a lot more services. Now you have no excuse of not knowing what’s hot!
MarketingWithMiles is a marketing blog I found that I liked a lot. Some good marketing info on all aspects of internet marketing.
For you hardcore FireFox fans (myself included) here is a printable list of FireFox shortcuts from mouserunner.com.
Okay, go play. This list should waste a pretty good amount of your time as it did mine… ![]()
